Bad news....Our booking at Lanai resort, via HotelTravel was not confirmed even though they took the money. However, the funny is that Lanai has replied by mail previously that they do have free deluxe...we're puzzled.In a nutshell...we're now in the air...no booking confirmed...we need beach and fun (for us and baby). Should we take the chance to go from airport directly on hotel doors looking for a room? Where would be the best? Any urgent advise will be highly appreciated!!!

How can they not confirm?? That's terrible.
Maybe you would like to try http://www.asiatravel.com/malaysia/langkawi.html? I've booked a Bangkok hotel through them before, and I didn't have any problems.

Maybe you want to visit these website.
Make sure you check out their package. Stay and Drive package by Tanjung Rhu is a very good package (All Inclusive). Or you may want to have a look on Geopark Package by Sheraton. its possible when you arrived and looking for a room from the tour agent at the airport if its not school holiday season.,since you didn't mention when you are going ,i can't help you but believe me ,the tour operator at the airport will help you to get a room if not a peak season ,i did thats before as thats stupid *&^% hotel didn't confirmed our booking when we arrived there.
