Santorini Island Travel Forum

Hi,

I booked my ferry to Santorini in June and now want to sort out my accomodation for 3 nights, I am travelling on a budget and have been looking at hostels and cant decide between 3. The first 2 are Hostel Anna or Katerina and John Hotel in Perissa both are the same cost (about €7 per night) and the other is Youth Hostel Oia in Oia which is €15 per night. Is it worth paying the extra to be in Oia?

I am a single traveller who will be out sightseeing in the day and chilling out in the evening and wondered if one resort might be better for me than the other? I have heard that Oia is quite expensive for food and drink is that true? How does Perissa compare?

Also if anyone has stayed at any of the hostels feed back would be appreciated!

Not to worry I booked the youth hostel Oia.

Hi, I have been many times,,,the oia hostel is beautiful and chilled out and great if you want to chill out( little harder to meet people and can sometimes feel a little stuffy but very beautiful)


The anna hostel is more like a hostel but better for meeting people for a few drinks etc,,,

Both hostels are spotless clean.

Anna hostel area cheaper than oia.

I will be there for 1 week in 10 days time..

Its a beautiful island so ENJOY!!!!!!!!!!!1
