The German train website (which also gives international schedules but no prices) is www.bahn.de. English version available.

It's a 10-11 hour journey, with changes. Fares are indicated on bahn.de for some trains (171.40 euros single for the 09:54), which gives you an idea of what the others will cost. http://www.touring.de/index.php?id=2&L=1 will give you bus times/fares. Takes around 14 hours, costs around 87 euros single.

http://reiseauskunft.bahn.de/bin/query.exe/en From: Frankfurt From: FRA airport To: Venezia Santa Lucia With specials it will make sense to use two tickets. e.g. Frankfurt to Munich and Munich to Venice or Frankfurt to Milano and normal domestic Italian ticket from Milano to Venice.
