Hi there,

Sure there's a train to from Fluelen to Luzern, check out the official site:

http://fahrplan.sbb.ch/bin/query.exe/en?

It takes about 1 hour.

Hi

Train is fast and convenient. If the weather is nice and you have a few hours why not taking the boat. I think this is one of the best ways to see the heart of Switzerland. The boat stopps at some very historical places such as the Ruetli (where Switzerland was founded) or the Tellskappelle (where the saga sais Wiliam Tell jumpted off the boat of his capturers)

It takes about 2,5 to 3 h without stoppover. Check the timetable:

Enjoy your stay

Hi Grumphy, not sure if you've gone on your trip already, but I just came back from mine. I stayed at the Fluelen Hirschen and was able to take the train from Lucerne main train station back to the hotel. The train left at 8:21pm and got to the Fluelen stop at 9:17pm. A convenient and scenic ride. The cost is 19.00 CHF. Fluelen is a quiet and charming village. Not much to do there, so you'd definitely want to take the train around or even the boat, but the boat will take much longer, three hours was what the hotel clerk told me. Happy travels!
