| Austin | kayaking Reimers Ranch Park Posted: Sat April 26, 2008 01:37 PM UTC
I was wondering if there was a lot of boat traffic or is this a place
for a relaxing day of kayaking and taking pictures? Thanks Plummer |

Boat traffic can get a little thick certain times of the year. When the white bass are running, Reimers Ranch is one of the hot spots. Weekdays of course would have less traffic.
I don't know if your from the Austin area since you haven't filled in any info about your location, but there are plenty of rivers/creeks that are not crowded and are great for photos and kayaking.

Hello, yes, like Matt said, Reimers can get crowded during white bass season, but other times you can have it almost to yourself. It is really worth a day trip out there to check it out. You can mountain bike, climb, Kayak, fish. There are some motor boats that are out there, but it's not bad. It's really pretty. I have even been out kayaking during the white bass run and I still had some wide open water to myself. Go out there and check it out, it's cool!
