| Santiago | Good areas to stay? Posted: Sat April 26, 2008 01:13 PM UTC
So I'm trying to figure out where to stay in Santiago. I have an opportunity to stay for free with miles, but am fearful of being stuck in an area with only the hotel restaurant, and having cab fares eat up the rest of my savings.
So here are the 4 addresses in question that I can pick from: + Four Points - Santa Magdalena No. 111 (Providencia) + Sheraton - Ave Santa Maria 1742 (Providencia) + San Cristobal Tower - Josefina Edwards De Ferari 0100 ( ? ) + the W - Isidora Goyenechea 3000 ( ? ) Anyone can tell me if either one of these is better than the others location wise? Thanks for all help! -LTZ |

H,
the Sheraton is great, but somewhat out of reach w. re. to walking distance. On the other hand it is more qiet and beautifully situated, with a great view from the rooftop-restaurant(over the whole city and further south). Have a nice time !

The best located is the Four Points. The other options are all rather isolated.

I agree that the one that is most centrally located is the Four Points. It is near the metro station Los Leones on Line 1 and close to lots of shopping areas and restaurants.
Cheers, Rhianon
