| Pagudpud | LA UNION to PAGUDPUD Posted: Sat April 26, 2008 11:42 AM UTC
My friends and I are coming from La Union and we're trying to figure out how to get to Pagudpud from there.
What kind of transportation can we use to get to Pagudpud proper and how long is the travel time? Many thanks! |

Not sure if Manila is your start point or not, but unless you fly into Loag probably the best way is to take the bus. I would highly suggest the delux, lots more leg room, much more comfortable as it will be along ride. Once you are in Pagudpud and if you know where you want to go you should be able to tell the bus driver to drop you off at a certain point. I would also suggest a spot where you can pick up a tricycle to take you down to a resort or you could be walking a ways.
Also, because the trip takes awhile, you may arrive somewhat late, you could also consider staying in Laoag overnite and continueing the last hour of the trip into Pagudpud the next day. good luck, have fun!

buses from manila to cagayan (sanchez, claveria, junction luna) passes by san fernando, la union around 11:00 pm up. They all pass by pagudpud . There are also some buses which goes direct to pagudpud. If its not the passenger peak season, then you can have a seat space in the bus and by morning be in the pagudpud area.
The plaza of san fernando is busy 24 hrs a day so safety would not be much of an issue. If there are no seats available then take the big buses(not mini buses) to Laoag city and transfer to the jeepneys and mini buses to the pagudpud junction in the highway and transfer by tricycle to your final destination. bong
