I've looked through the hotel reviews but can't find what I'd like. Can anyone tell me if there is a hotel somewhere near the Prague Castle that has rooms with a view of the city and those rooms have either a terrace or a balcony large enough for 2 to sit out on?? Alternatively, if the hotel has a terrace open to all guests where you don't have to order drinks or meals. Quiet rooms are also a necessity. I am looking in the price range of around 300-350 Euros a night. Any recommendations would be appreciated.

Hotel President is what you want (Staré Mesto, Námesti Curieových 100).

Not sure how much "near" you want.
I wouldn't call "Hotel President" suggested above "near the Castle". Also the view will be mostly of the park on the other side of the river, not the city. On the other hand even the President in the castle offices does not have balcony with the view of the city... :-))
