| Melbourne | Advice of service apartments in Melbuorne Posted: Fri April 25, 2008 02:07 PM UTC
Anyone got some suggestions on serviced apartments in Melbourne. Looking for good value but clean.
Came across this a melbourne serviced apartments website - http://melbourneservicedapartments.net - that has a few different ones in different parts of melbourne but i'm not sure what's best. |

Just to help us help you, please fill in where you're from and interests. DOB (age bracket) also helps.
If your youngish then probably the StKilda property is best as its sorounded by night life/cafes/beach etc.

For work we use the Punt Hill Appartments and have never had any complaints. They have many good locations in the city and in the surrounding suburbs.

I know of some, including some owned by friends.
With all due respects FC. Taking Funky-Chicken seriously would be a major stumbling block and I am lothe to suggest you to friends. They never rent without references. Try filling in some information about yourself. As pointed by a previous member above, age can dictate the location best suiting you. Many of us discover that no information on home-page is a fly-by-night member and rarely worth the reserch one does for them. Good Luck.

If you are travelling by yourself a serviced apt might be expensive but if you are travelling with someone else or another couple it usually works out cheaper and more covenient than a hotel. We have stayed at the Grand Mercure apts in Docklands which is the 'new' place to be in melb. It is right near the Telstra Dome so you could catch a football game without having to go too far.It has the free tourist circle tram stop right near it and also other trams stop close by as well. It doesn't yet have the hustle & bustle of the rest of Melb but everything is close enough, sometimes it's nice to come back to somewhere a bit quieter at night. There are many restaurants in the precint as well. The unit we stayed in was in a building called the 'Nolan' and was just newly furnished, it was stunning and modern with everything you could wish for and a great view. It was Unit 503 if that helps, maybe you could ask to have the same one? Try www.grandmercuredocklands.com.au Hope this helps, enjoy your stay.
