Hi all,
Very familiar with Bangkok and Pattaya, but zip when it comes to Phuket...
I have four nights to plan for myself and brother.
questions:

where to stay on island and by what beach(we want to be close to clubs, strip joints,shopping)also, where bringing ladies back is not an issue or large fee for overnight guest

What to do and see on island, any island excursions

can spend up to 4000 a night for a room with two double beds, nice pool would be great.

Patong is your only option for all that. The place has a big selection of hotels.

Patong Beach is the place and try and stay near Soi Bangla as most of the night life is there.

Hi...let's see 2 brothers,one room,2 double beds,ladies...!!??...Mmmmm..!!..nudge nudge wink wink...I see nothing..!!??...Try Tropica Bungalows which is situated 1 minutes walk across road to beach and 1 minute walk around corner to infamous Bangla Road.My friends have been to Phuket and Pattaya for the girls and they prefer Pattaya because it's much larger and more ladies I guess......I am not sure but I heard you can take ladies back to Tropica and no fees incurred...Maybe someone can confirm this...?...have fun..!!

hi, thanks for your post, ive been to pattaya several times, and my brother is newly divorced, so im taking on a two week vacation, so i wanted to vary the itineary a bit. the air deal from bangkok was only 90 buck for two rt tickets, not bad..
i agree pattaya is nice, done chaing mai, chaing rae, pai,bangkok, pattaya, kol sumai, never down south

Patong is way nicer than Pattaya, IMHO.

5 days in bangkok
4 days in phuket
8 days in pattaya
thats the plan so far, was thinking of taking my brother to cambodia, but i hate that drive....
