Hello all,

I am going to be in Saly for one week in the begining of June, staying in the Les Bougainville hotel, any reviews?
I`m was also planning to take some tours, not really the beach all day type, any sugestions?

Hi,
Les bougainvillaes hotel is quite highly reccommended in the French "Guide du Routard".
From Saly there are various trips to do :

Up to Lac Rose and Gorée island.
Down to Siné Saloum (mangroves and canals)
To Joal-Fadiouth
These are all trips that can be done in a day from Saly. The hotel will be able to organise all this and will also have others such as :
Evening barbecue in a local village
Half -day out in an 8 wheeler to a local village(not so local as all that !!!)
Perhaps also to the cathedral in Thiès
