| State of Jammu and Kashmir | Leh-Srinagar transportation + accomodation Posted: Tue April 22, 2008 10:11 AM UTC
I'll be flying in to Leh on the 16th of May with 3 friends. We plan on visting some places around Leh and then make our way to Srinagar by the 25th of May, when we have a morning flight back to Delhi. We'd like to rent a car for the entire stay, so one that can take us to all the places around Leh as well as to Srinagar. Can anyone recommend a place to get a car with driver for this trip and what would be the cost app.?
Furthermore we haven't booked any accomodation beforehand, as we don;t know beforehand where we'll be every night. But we would be interested in staying in guesthouses ... are those available in the Leh area and what would we pay per night app.? Thanks in advance! |
