Stayed at Aston Bali, a good alternative located in Tanjung Benoa. It's reasonable and the rooms are quite big. The downside is the beach, it's okay not great.

Since you are returning to Bali, you might ask yourself the question, “do I really want to see Bali?” Nusa Dua is hardly Bali...in fact, it is all a contrived land fill project begun in the 1970’s by a French based company. It is Bali's "Disney World."
Try Ubud, Amed, Lovina, or anywhere else than Nusa Dua and experience what Bali is really like. Cheers, and have a nice return visit.
