Hi.
Everytime I have used RyanAir, they offer bus transport from their airports to the main city downtown. I am sure they do the same with Barcelona. You can buy the ticket to the bus at the origin airport, or into the plane. I think they inform about that service in their website(at least they did it when I went to Rome) Good luck.

Doesn't Ryanair have a bus that connects time-wise to the arrival of the plane? They do for other destinations. You should check on their website.

the company that runs the buses from GRO to Barcelona is called Sagales, and yes they run buses according the flights departure/arrivals. You can find them trough the Ryanair website, or www.sagales.com
Do not worry, just follow the flow when you arrive. There is a counter of Sagales next to the luggage claim area. They do speak English (last time I used them the lady there in fact nearly did not speak Spanish LOL!) and the return trip I think to remember it costs 21€ (and more than 1 hour time... Girona is not close to Barcelona, Ryanair had many complaints, including fines from the authorities, about their misleading advertising but they just don't care) On your way back to GRO, better take the bus PRIOR to the one that's scheduled for your flight. The queues at GRO are really long and it may be a bit chaotic. Is better to be already there when the checkin counters open

We have travelled to Girona now a few time, get your bus ticket from the desk in arrival just on the right hand side before you got out of the building, then cross road to catch bus make sure you get a reyurn ticket its cheaper.
Good luck, next time you go try Girona city its great and 15 mins on bus
