CAn someone suggest things to do in and around Perth with 2 kids 3 and 5 and also excursions just for their grandparents?

If you're staying in the city, take the Barrack St ferry to South Perth and catch the bus or taxi to the Zoo.

A Swan River cruise is a great way to see the city too.

Hi Suggest the following

Perth Zoo , just get the ferry across the river to South Perth

Kings Park which overlooks the city, there is also the tree top walk and play areas for children.

Fremantle on the weekend, the Fremantle Markets Saturday & Sunday , plus outside the entrance there are Street Entertainers which all kids love.

Then there is the beach, play in the sand, or take them to Sea World at Hillarys Boat Harbour/ Sorrento Quay, also a beach here.
