Hi! The busstation at Trieste told us that it is no bus to Umag on Sundays. Is that correct? If correct, is there another way for a family with two adults and two Kids to get to Umag on a Sunday? We arriving Trieste by train. Thanks!

Yes it's correct (but why do you think the general public would know more than Trieste bus station?!), if you interrogate Autotrans for any 7-day period, it will give you the 13.00 bus for Umag Mon-Fri but not Sat or Sun: http://www.autotrans.hr/index.php?c=timetable
You may have to take a taxi.

Yes, i looked at that bus, and double checked with the people at www.autostazionetrieste.it. They told me that it was a fault on the web page that it is a bus on Sunday. So, no bus on Sunday. But they told me it is a bus to Buje at 18.00 on Sunday. Somebody who know how to get a taxi in Buje for Umag? It is only 10 km as i understand.

Yes, i see exactly the same as you, but when talk to the people at Trieste bus station, they tell me that this is wrong, a fault in the timetable at the website. So i´m happy that i double checked :-) BUT they told me that it is a bus for Buje at 18.00. Buje is only 10 km from Umag as i understand, so - somebody who know how to get a taxi from Buje to Umag? Buje is a small village and many of the small villages i have been to has no taxi service at all...

Buje is a small town but I believe there is taxi service there too (I couldn’t trace any online). Maybe you’d like to order a transfer with some of Umag based taxi drivers. I found these:

Thank you very much! With your advice and telephone numbers, i will take my wife and two kids (1 and 3 years) on the bus from Trieste to Buje and when i arrive Buje call one of the taxi drivers in Umag.
