San Carlos de Bariloche Travel Forum

Hi

I am in Argentina for the month of may and had been planning to go to Patagonia and Bariloche on the way but a few people have told me not to bother going to either because the weather will be too rainy.

Can anyone shed light? is early may too wet a time to visit Bariloche and Patagonia too?

At least for Bariloche, statistics say that May, June and July are the most rainy months.

There will be rain, not a great deal but it will be quite cool.

it is too early because there won't be much snow to ski on yet.

I was there the last 3 weeks of April 3 years ago and it was beautiful, although it was starting to get cold that last week. It rained some but I don´t recall it being that bad. If you have the time I would go unless you think that will have other chances in the future.

Last May was beautiful in Bariloche for most of the month. So far, this MAy has been really nice. I think you should come, you won't regret it.
