Krakow	bus or train to krakow from Katowice Posted: Mon April 21, 2008 04:50 PM UTC Hello, 15 June (sunday) i arrive at Katowice at 17.30. I can take the bus (from wizz air) to Krakow and it will take me there in 2 hours. Is there a faster possibility (and cheap!) I was thinking about taking the train. Is there a train leaving from Katowice airport to Krakow, or do i have to go to the trainstation first? What would you recommend me to do, take the (mini)bus, train or the normal bus (What is the fastest and cheapest way to do)? We booked a hostel, close to the trainstation in Kakow. And then we like to go out to a disco at Krakow.What is a good place to go (i don't want to go to a disco where all English or foreign people come). Where do the Krakow people go out? will give you the Polish train timetable in English.

Trains from Katowice to Krakow take around an hour and a half, but there are no trains from the airport itself.

By the time you have got to Katowice town (30 minutes away) you might as well take the bus all the way to Krakow.
