probably another Ellyse question: is it possible to buy a Z train ticket from Shanghai to Beijing from Beijing? we are only going to be in Shanghai the last two days of our 21 day trip. Thought I could get the tickets at the beginning before we start the trip. Thanks

Z train tickets only go on sale 10 days in advance anyway, so if you're starting in Beijing I think you'll be too early to buy them.
When are you travelling? I might be able to help you out. I think you already have my email address?

thanks Ellyse .Just got back ,brilliant trip. In the end the hotel got us the train tickets no problem..

Just a little miffed that you didn't seem keen on perhaps meeting up, after I had been answering your questions left, right and centre, since last year!

it's not that at all! we only had 2 days in Shanghai right at the end of our trip.
