| Vancouver | Ferry to Gibsons, BC Posted: Sun April 20, 2008 08:18 PM UTC
We are arriving on a cruise ship into Vancouver on Friday, May 16, 2008 and want to go to Gibsons for a few hours. Is there a ferry that has a regular schedule into Gibsons from Vancouver? If so, which ferry is it and where do we go to board that ferry?
Thanks very much! Sharon Sorenson |

From Vancouver you need to get to Horseshoe Bay. Check out the following website:

Also check www.bcferries.com The route is Horseshoe Bay to Langdale. It is about a 25 minute cab ride from the cruise pier or you can take a bus from Georgia and Burrard St which is about 5 blocks (uphill) from the pier

Going over to Gibsons might be a little tight depending on how much time you have. The ferries run on a schedule and it takes longer than you might think. Also, when you get to the Sunshine Coast, you are still about 15 minutes away from Gibsons (by car). Depending on how much time you have, you might want to simply take a the seabus across to Londsdale Quay. Nice shops, market and a great view of Vancouver skyline. The seabus terminal is within walking distance of Canada Place, where you should be docking.
