I just posted a question about the City Sight tour....now I am wondering if the City Pass makes more sense. Which is better?

Thanks!

I think you have to come to your own conclusions here. City sights will let you see more of the city but I know you have to dedicate a fair amount of time to the bus to get your money's worth. On my visit I opted away from the bus tour because I felt the times of the buses were not going to let me see all of the things I wanted to see but I know people who have said to me the bus tour was the best part of their stay because they were shown a lot. I disagree with the post on your other question about the subway, it is a great way to get around NYC and I doubt whether you will need a taxi in your 2 Day stay.

We were there last June and did not purchase the City Pass, regret not doing so, went to 3 of the venues on the card, and had to wait to get in, Empire State Building and the Circle Line Ferry. These 2 entries covered the cost of the pass but we waited 1.5 hours to get up the Empire State, with the pass you miss the line.

Good Luck,
Mike
