We have only 2 days in NYC. Would you recommend the City Sights NY Tour for $80 which allows you to "hop on hop off" a double decker bus for 2 days, and includes tickets to Liberty and Ellis Island, Top of the Rock or Empire State Building, and a night tour, etc.

That sounds perfect - you do not want to rely on subway - cab or walking in NYC unless you know your way around. The traffic can be at a standstill and can be stressful and cabs just keep on clicking up the fares while sitting.

Is the $80 per person? I was just checking www.viator.com and it appears they have the same hop-on/hop-off for $49 per person. Although I have never done the NYC hop-on/hop-off, I am a fan of hop-on/hop-off buses that I have been on in other cities. They have always been an effective way of getting around.
