Funchal Airport to Funchal

I am going to madeira next week. We are staying in a central located hotel in Funchal (Hotel Madeira). Does anyone know if there is a bus service from the airport in Funchal, If so how much does it cost?

But taxis on Madeira are very cheap, do not hesitate to take one. Yo can bargain as well, they don't always use a meter, but that's not necessarily a bad thing, I've never had any problems.

The local bus is rather infrequent and on top of that, slow. Take a taxi.

There is a bus service from the airport from outside arrivals but it will not go near to your hotel. If you take a taxi it will cost you about 22/25 euros but I would recommend you agree a price first. There will be plenty outside arrivals.
