Hi Travel folks,

This summer I'm going to Finland in July/August for about two and a halve weeks.
My plan is to go around on my bicycle, in combination with a few canoe trips. I definitely wanna do some canoe trips in scenic lake regions which involves camping overnight
Arriving in Helsinki, and will take the train to Kuopio where my journey will begin.
The rough plan is to cycle from Kuopio Eastwards to Koli, and from there South to the Kolovesi National park region where I want to make a 3 to 5 day canoe trip. Then further South towards Savonlinna, camping nearby lakes, do some fishing/canoeing on the way when possible.
To keep my freedom I don't like to pre-book anything but just turn up whenever I like and see what's possible.
Is this doable? No probs to just turn up, stall my bike and rent a canoe for a couple of day's or am I standing in line to get one?
All tips are welcomed, the best regions to canoe, to get some wilderness feeling (without bumping into other canoes/kajaks every hour), scenic roads to cycle, (gravel roads are fine with me) best National Parks etc..

Let me rephrase it and stick to my main question:
Are there enough canoes available for the Kolovesi / Linnansaari national parks around the end of july / begin of august or do I need to book in advance?
