Could someone please send me a link to a site which tells me how to see the major sites in LA using public transportation in one day? A suggested itinerary could help. I propose to be in LA on a Saturday in May 2008. Thanks

Your goal is rather optimistic. Public transportation in LA is not like other major cities. And LA is spread out. So you are only likely to see one or two things.
Perhaps we could offer more useful advice if you can tell us which things you want to see ( Hollywood? Samta Monica? JPL? Disneyland? Getty? etc )

Note you can click on "show all" and see all tours. Given your time and transportation constraints, this is the one way you would see as much as possible - otherwise, particularly on a Saturday, with luck you would see one or two things and spend the rest of the time either lost and/or waiting for transportation.

Thanks for the info. I would like to limit myself to the sights around the Chinese Theatre and Rodeo drive only.
