there is a fairly good pub on the ground floor.
it closes early though (11pm i think) so don´t arrive too late.

You might not get the traditional Irish pub experience at the airport but I’m sure you’ll be able to get a pint of Guinness if that’s what you are after. If you have enough time you can get to the City Centre using the Airlink bus 747, takes around 35-40 minutes and a return ticket will cost around €10.
Have a good trip Cheers, Clive

i'll be there from about 8.30 am to 2ish p.m. that seems to be within the boundaries you've set.

I hope the pub on the ground floor is still there: yes, first step or last chance to a lovely pint of Guinness (always better in homeland)... And there are shops as well, but let me know if you hear about an airport offering cinema lounge ...
good luck jackie

i want mor sports pubs at airports.
all this waiting in airports would be so much better with a football game while you are having a beer.

Wi-Fi is not free at Dublin airport if you are thinking about that. It is about 17 US cents per minute with some minimum about $5. I was there in October and again 2 weeks ago. It actually is one of my favorite airports. Been there about 6 times total. Be careful about going too far as traffic can get really bad and you could miss your flight.

haha.
i'm using the dublin (non-free) wifi now. it's 5euros/hour. i'm billing it to work tho anyway. it might be a bit early yet for a pint of guiness which i'll have to have here in the airport as they don't seem to want me to leave. ah well.
