| Moscow | Victory Day Posted: Sat April 19, 2008 01:22 PM UTC
MY first day in Moscow will be 9th of May. Victory Day. Will all public buildings be closed? What about the Kremlin? What should I spend this day doing? Should I go to Victory Park?
Thanks |

the public buildings. you mean museums? then they are closed only on Mondays. I think Kremlin will be open as any other museum.
this day there are a lot of people in the city center and in Victory Park.

I would not recommend visiting Victory park . there are plenty of places more interesting in old Moscow.

This year there will be a miltary parade with aviation-show (there are some in my Moscow tips) in Red Square. So, 1-st half of the day Red sq. and Kremlin will be closed. Victory park is an interesting place (see my t-logs and tips) and there will be a lot of performances there on May 9.
