| Prague | Prague - Prague by Night Boat Trip Comments? Posted: Sat April 19, 2008 12:26 PM UTC
Planning a 3 day trip at the beginning of May to Prague. The Prague by Night boat trip looks interesting. Anybody have any experience of these trips? I have been reading about one trip which includes dancing and another which is on a smaller (?) boat which has music and food with hotel collection and delivery. I would appreciate any helpful comments. Thank you.

You must go on one (I'm talking about the small-ish boats (for 10 pple max), they're wonderful. Only cost me about €10, 3 years ago, they're stationed near Charles bridge, and lasts a good hour, with a break in the middle (fro coffee), it is a very romantic way to spend your first evening there.
However, it was hot when I did it (32 during the day), evenings at the end of May might well be cold, do not book anything now, there's no need to book, just turn up on the night, do not buy the whole package (probably a rip-off), just go there when fancy takes you. As I said, it can't be much more than €12 now (for 90 minutes)

BACK TO THE MIDDLE AGES
Hi, Just returned from Prague. We joined a trip to the medieval times ! An amazing and exciting evening at Detenice, a small village located some 75 km from Prague, where we enjoyed 3 hours of mediaeval program (fencers, belly dancers, burners, fakir with a snake and fire, live music of the period), together with fine food, made on open fire and delicious local beer, at the renowned mediaeval tavern. Price : 1290 CZK= €52 , including transfers (from the Hotel and back ), entrance fee at the tavern, dinner and 4 beers / soft drinks. Departure : every Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday 16.45- 17.15, (depends on Hotel's location) from any Hotel. Arrival back to the Hotel : 23.15- 23.30 . warmly recommended !
