Hello, I will arrive at Luang Prabang in a afternoon at about 4pm from Van Vieng. and I will be leaving for Phonsavan on the 3 rd day.

when i arrived at Luang Prabang, i most probably wil hang out at the town and rest in guesthouse. So i will have one whole day to visit around only.

Do you think i can visit kuangsi and pakou in one day? Other than Kuangsi and pakou, any place else worth a visit in my tight schedule? thanks.

It shouldn't be a problem visiting Pak Ou Caves/Tham Thing and Kuangsi in one day. Many travelers go to the caves in the morning, return to LP by 1:30 for the minivan transfer to Kuangsi with the minivan departing the parking lot around 5:30-6pm. Makes for a long day. Don't forget to visit the sunbears and Phet the tiger. And if you're going soon, don't forget to bring a swimsuit since it's presently very hot and humid in LP.

I agree with Seagypsy, you should have no problems doing everything in one day - we did. Was a long day but fun.

We spent quite a bit of time with the volunteers who care for the sun bears - some great stories.
