Hi, I'll be travelling to Guangzhou in May. Can anyone pls tell me where are the wholesale area for Men/Ladies Apparel, Children Apparel and Accessories(Earrings, belt, fashion necklace)? Been to Baima last year during a short trip. But its not what I'm looking for. Too expensive. Tks in advance!

There are a lot of places near the main railway station. In particular just opposite. Or turn right out of the station for footwear, or left out of the station, then left again at the roundabout, for leather goods (belts, handbags but not clothes).

Most of the stuff can be found in the wholesale buildings around Guangzhou main train station.
For children's wear, look on Zhongshan Balu.

Actually now I think about it, Baima (white horse) building os one of those opposite the railway station! So either you're looking for some basic and low-grade items, or your haggling skills need honing!

Shoe market is more between beijinglu and haizhu square. There are also belt streets there!

Hi, tks a lot for all ur replies. Yah, Baima's oso near the main train station(liuhua). That's where I went during my last trip. The clothings are real expensive! Even when Its at wholesale prices. I heard there's another place which sells lots of cheaper range apparels. Btw, which hotel would u suggest? Was thinking of Guangdong Victory Hotel, Guangdong Hotel(Stayed there during my last trip) or Canton Landmark Hotel. Which is more centralise? As in near to wholesale markets. Thanks in advance for all ur kind replies!
