Hello there...

I would recommend 100% the hotel --ERBOY HOTEL- were I stayed in December. You must know that hotels are quite small in Instabul, but this one I booked it online because it had an open space lobby and restaurants on site. We went there with another couple with one son and it was great stay. Check out my Istanbul Page.

The hotel webpage is http://www.erboyhotel.com/... I loved the food and they picked us at the airport and also drove us back. Great choice!

Good luck

try the Cosmopolitan Park Hotel or the Terrace Guesthouse - both in my Istanbul tips; good location, good accommodation, not too expensive!

May 2008? You better start looking pronto! Many places are booked, as the season is getting started and there is a grand Prix happening.
For must dos, check out the travel guides.
