hello, how much am I expected to pay for a cab from the airport?
I am staying at Costa Caribe Coral Resort?

The hotel is in Juan Dolio beach and it should be a 30-40 minutes by car from Las Américas airport. I'd say the fare should be around 35US, 40 if you feel generous but before getting in a cab, negotiate this and if possible have the exact fare.

since i am getting money from the atm and my currency is euro, how many pesos do 40 dollars correspond to?

According to today's newspaper (one of them) it's 34.40 pesos per dollar and 54.61 per euro.

do u know if there are day trips to that island? it looks wonderful and for sure on my last day I will visit the capital ;-)

hello guys, just to give u a short note. from the airport to juan dolio ( i thought my hotel would be in boca chica but it was in juan dolio) i paid 1200 pesos with a regular taxi and on the way back 900 pesos (i paid a guy I had met on the beach)
