Have you visited the one in Jerez yet? It is quite nice but also costly. There are 3 baths. It is opposite the cathedral.

Hiya guapa,
I always say Cadiz, Cadiz too ;) Well I've been to one in Granada and it was FANTASTIC (got a massage too). What better place to go than there. Well you did say you had transport (I hope you don't mean your moto ;). The one in Jerez hasn't been open for that long, just a couple of years I think. The one in Granada (el hammam) has been going for a long long long time ;) You can find info and the website link on my Granada page, just scroll down: http://members.virtualtourist.com/m/78716/4112d/4/?o=1&i=1 Espero que nos vemos pronto Julie

Don't know about the one in Sancti Petri but I went to the Hammam in Jerez one Sunday morning after a long Saturday night and it was quite a good cure. I also opted for the massage and fell asleep. I think it has been running for about 3 years now and there is some British connection with it as well. I can't recall if the guy is a Brit as he looked very Southern Spanish. lol
This is giving the info. It is round the corner from the nice bar opposite the cathedral. http://www.hammamandalusi.com/ Oh and getting into the cold bath was a nightmare.

I'll check out the Jerez baths after my Yamaha v Suzuki v Kawasaki shop moment...might be the ideal relax as I expect my head will be in a spin... Thanks again..your a helpful bunch...C xxx

GRANADA - I just read somewhere that there are two Hammams in Granada as a matter of interest. Spoilt for choices.
This one is down in the warren of streets in central Granada. http://www.aljibesanmiguel.es/

I can't believe you are selling your moto it's so beautiful! (If only I had a license and money to buy if off you ;) So are you selling it then? I'm not proud I accept free gifts heheheheehe (joke)
Let me know how it goes in Jerez at the baths as I haven't heard much about it, just that it is fairly new. Don't worry about the cold bath it feels fantastic and refreshing, it's amazing how the cold doesn't bother you that much when you jump in after the hot bath. Then after the hot bath feels so much better!! Bliss. :)

I think you have to get over the psychological fear of freezing water ;)

| Cadiz | ARABIC BATHS ROCK Posted: Mon May 19, 2008 08:54 AM UTC
Well, I finally got the chance to have my Hammam, and have nothing but positive feedback for this hydrotherapy....
...to benefit fully, you must do the hot bath / cold bath thing as many times as you can take it (the cold one's a killer, but the rewards are over the good and the bad). What a charge to the system...your realigned mentally and physically. Your skin will feel softer as it's expelled toxins, you'll be tired after all this detoxification...so don't have too much planned for afterwards. (Remember the skin can, in an hour, do what your kidney's take 24 hours to do...and the kidneys are working super hard at the same time). My middle toe on one of my feet doesn't move when i bend my toes, but after the hamman, it was tingling - perhaps the nerves were stimulated. The music / the decor / the lighting / the sweet tea / the staff - all tranquil.... I'm addicted...i felt so peaceful afterwards....next time im going to have the massage too. Cheers Carmelle
