need help...i'm going 2 gold coast nex month..staying at paradise resort hotel..
can u give me a guide where is the nearby market, or is it possible that i can get a simple map. sorrounding my hotel location..

I assume youa re staying at Paradise resort at 122 Ferny Avenue, Surfers Paradise. If so it is a central location.

Not too sure what market you are meaning...??Carrarra ...or beach market or supermarket?

Basically the markets here on the Gold Coast are pretty crappy the one a t Carrara is a permanent setup and nothing exciting same old same old....U might try and get to the markets at Byron Bay and Shannon they rotate over the month and if u have a car that is...There are the Farmers market at the Gold Coast race course on Saturdays and a friday nite market that travels between Burleigh and Surfers so it just depend s when u get here.

ps as to your map there is a tourist info office in Surfers but beware of the tout booths that operate as tourist info boxes...

I'll second Chris's answer about the markets at Byron Bay. If you have a car then you can travel there via the coast road taking in Cabaritta and Hastings Point along the way. Here is a good site for maps -
