Pulau Perhentian Kecil Travel Forum

hi there! would like to see this island this may 24-26, would appreciate any information good for 2 persons, a/c room, hot/cold shower, good food, clean but somehow cheap :) (are those to much to ask?! ) long beach area i think is the best place in this island to stay (pls correct me if im wrong :) )

Kecil is not the place to expect to find A/C with hot showers- think old wooden A-frame chalets with shared showers,maybe with the exception of BuBu, which can get very noisy. Besar has more upscale options.

I was on Perhentian Kecil Island in Feburary. Absolutely wonderful place to unwind. Senja bay resort, www.senjabay.com , which is on the west side of the Kecil Island has A/C, hot/cold shower (no need of hot I guess as its already quite nice temp but its available), good food (I loved it) available with them. Basic but nice place. This beach is called coral beach (because of lots of corals on the beach :) ). You can cross through the jungle to visit either side of the island. Long beach has nice clean beach for walking, however, the waves are pretty strong so it is impossible to snorkle there.

If I go there again (hopefully), I will again stay at Senja Bay.
