when was the olympic stadium bilt?

The Olympics were held in Helsinki in 1952

Sorry guys but the Olympic stadium was built much earlier than the 50s because it was initially planned for Helsinki to host the games in 1940. I think building took place in the middle of the 1930s. Because of WWII the games were cancelled in 1940 and Helsinki hosted the 1952 olympics instead.

well, I have some planes to come to Helsinki on Figure skating champ. witch will held in Hartwall A. I'm trying to find some hostel close to arenna and according by Google map Stadion Hostel is the nearest. Or maybe you have some other suggestion?
But I guess 10 minutes by tram it's not far away .Only think that bothers me is the cold weather,hope that I won't freeze there (I'm from mediteranean country)
