| Lisbon | Cruise stop/1 day travel pass Posted: Wed April 16, 2008 03:37 PM UTC
Thinking of buying a one day pass as only in lisbon for 8 hrs on a cruise stop. Understand you can buy them at carris kiosks or at metro stations. What would be the nearest place to the cruise port stop to purchase one. Thanks for any replies.

Most probably your ship will be docking in Belem and in that case you will have the Jeronimos monastery and the museum of royal coaches within walking-distance.
Opposite of the monastery there is a kiosk of the tourist-office and they sell the Lisbon-card that gives free entry to the monastery, the belem-tower, the caoches-museum (would be around 4 euros each otherwise) + free transport in Lisbon & Belem + free entry or reductions at various museums 13,50 euro for 24 hours makes sense, in case that you are interested to go to these museums see my belem-page : http://members.virtualtourist.com/m/1ffe4/4747d/
