| Denver | Another Rocky Mountains Query Posted: Wed April 16, 2008 10:51 AM UTC
Are there any tour operators who run day or half-day trips from Denver into the Rocky Mountains NP? Prefer tour which includes a fairly easy guided walk.
Thanks |

i don't know any operators but google may be able to help.
it seems like quite a long way to go for a short hike, and i doubt it can be done in half day.

Thanks, gfinesilver. How far are we talking (ie the Rockies from Denver)?
Google has brought up various websites but nothing particularly helpful when it comes to tours outside of the city itself.

google maps indicates that it is at least 1.5 hours from downtown denver to estes park, which is near the entrance of rocky mtn NP. so that's at least 3 hours travel time if you were driving your own vehicle. sorry, i don't know local operators.
