Hi Suzanne,
Some friends of mine contacted http://www.bairesapartments.com/ and http://www.bahomerental.com/en/index.php for them and their parents, and they were very satisfied with their apartments. Just contact them and they will let you know how do their work, in terms of payment, cancellations, etc. Good luck!!! Sebastian.

Hi Suzanne!
I used ByT Argentina for my recent visit of BsAs and was very satisfied. Was staying in Recoleta and found it a perfect location: quiet, save, close to downtown... The second-best would be Palermo. http://www.bytargentina.com/ I'm sure you are going to enjoy BsAs. It's a marvellous city! mira

I think an equally feasible option would be to check out the Buenos Aires section of craigslist.com (click on Argentina and you are automatically redirected to Buenos Aires)
Under the housing section, go to sublets & temporary and do a search; you may want to check the "has image" to ensure that you can get an idea of what the apartment will be like. The apartments available will obviously be different from now until June, however you can get a great idea of styles, prices, and features of various apartments all over the city, especially in Recoleta. You can rent a very nice apartment in that neighborhood, arguably the nicest in the city, for under 300 or 400 dollars U.S. per month, with the potential of saving that same amount versus staying in a nice hotel for the week.

hey Suzanne
I work in an international organization, and all members which are coming from Europe, they are renting apartments ( Retiro and Recoleta ) through Alojargentina.com rental, since 4 years ago. I would recommend them cuz we had excellent experiences with Alojargentina. If you have two teens, the best location is Palermo neighborhood, cuz U can visit many places for teens there , like the Zoo, the lakes, the squares, the Alto palermo mall and Paseo Alcorta mall, the botanical garden and much more. Palermo is the neighborhood for teenagers. happy travel Suzanne, David "cheche"
