Generally there are lots of nice, cheap ramen place all around Tokyo. I particularly like this chain "Kyushu Jangara". Mo mo Paradise, a chain has shabu shabu buffet. The one I know is at shinjuku. You have to do abit of research on ur own for the exact location.
If you want nice restaurant, average pricing, go to Marunouchi Building level 5...they have a good varieties there with some very good tempura and sushi restaurant.

The appropriate answer to your question is "How can you not find one?". You will have no trouble finding food, the problem will be having to make a choice.
One of my favorite cheap food experinces in Tokyo is to sit at a dairy crate table in the alleys of Yurakucho drinking beer and eating yakitori. Great time to be there when office workers are leaving work. It is the triangular area in the centre of the map: http://maps.google.ca/maps?f=q&hl=en&geoco In fact a walk up and down the "under the tracks" area from Tokyo Station to Shimbashi Station will reveal all sorts of worthwhile entertainment.

Agreed. It is just a matter of choosing from many great options for eating. I never had a meal I didn't like in Tokyo.

I agree with most of the replies. No worries, you will never go hungry in Tokyo as there is always good food everywhere, trust me, we just came back yesterday and we had a blast- there are pictures which can either tantalise or confuse you on what to eat!
The prices are cheaper at little shops around train stations. Even in high-end GINZA, we had yummy set lunches (pork, chicken, beef with vegiess, rice, miso soup, dessert )for 4 of us which only cost 2,000 yen, bargain! Look for the rows of eateries near Harakucho station if you are going to GINZA.
