Cadiz Travel Forum

I want to go to Cadiz for about a week in August, can you recommend a hotel that is good value for a family of 5.and close to beach and the town Prices etc would be appricated thanks

It seems to me that you would be better off renting an apartment rather than a hotel room/s? Does it have to be Cadiz city? or can it be Cadiz province. If the latter you certainly have more choice and scope. For example, there are plenty of small holiday rentals along the coast of Chiclana - Barossa beach/ Sancti Petri - or further down the coast around Conil. The tourist office people in Cadiz have an excellent web site for Accommodation resources in the Province and it is worth looking. In the city itself, there are some really nice hotels facing the Victoria beach - well actually only two - and several others just behind the frontage. Both those hotels can be seen on the internet. Playa Victoria and the Tryp Caleta.
But if you can go further afield then the choice is big.
