The prices of all Budapest tickets and passes are listed here:
http://www.bkv.hu/english/jegyek/index.html A day pass costs 1550 HUF (slightly over 6 euros) and is valid on the day that is marked, not 24 hours from the time of validating. There are also many other useful passes listed on this webpage, such as three-day cards, etc. Hope that helps. Venelin
