Please, put this sort of thing in as an additional comment on your original question, not as a new "question"!

Something tells me that you aint transporting ants to Moscow, right? Either way flying is going to be quicker but give me the overnight sleeper any time (Warszawa Wschodnia to Moskva Belorusskaja)
It’s such a brill atmosphere, have lunch in Warsaw, get the train, have dinner, get leathered on vodka, wake up in Moscow, fantastic. Have a look at the schedule here:http://rozklad.pkp.pl/bin/query.exe/en? But the best place for booking tickets in advance might be here: http://www.polrail.com/sections/store/quoteprice.html And if you are thinking of travelling anywhere by train you should call in on the man in seat 61: www.seat61.com

I just read your previous post, I guess you know you can get a bus from Manchester to Warsaw, it takes a little over 30 hours and costs around £90.00.
I guess you also know that you will need a Visa for Russia? The man in seat 61 will tell you about that: http://www.seat61.com/Russia.htm#Visas

Hi John, the only airline I could find that flies from Warsaw to Moscow is Malev Airlines. Good luck!
