| Istanbul | sunbathing in sultanahmet. Posted: Sun April 13, 2008 11:21 AM UTC
iīm going with a group of friends to istanbul in june and i was asked by two of my friends yesterday if there are some places in sultanahmet where they can relax and tan for a couple of hours a day.
i donīt think itīs possible at the place we stay, but there might be some roof top cafes or mabye even a hotel where itīs possible to use the pool for a fee. do you guys know anything about tanning in sultanahmet? |

well , if you are staying in sultanahmet you can reach easily the sea, by bus or even walk, to kumkapi or yenikapi. Some hotels use the roof terace as a restaurant, I don't think tou'l have any problem for sunbathing.
Good luck

check this hotel.nice wiew by the sea and very inside of the Sultanahmet. but I can tell you that take your beach towel go to Sarayburnu and you can get sunbath even there for couple hours.buy some cold drinks and you can see the marmara sea wiew.No fee.And it s safe.

The cheapest bet is to go for a stroll by the sea of marmara and it's a great place to watch the massive ships and fishermen too.
