I am in Frankfurt,Germany and want to travel to Poland with my wife to visit her family. We would love to take a train. We want to leave on the 9th of Oct and come back on the 12th. Does anyone have any idea how I could find the cheapest tickets or just tickets???

I doubt you'll easily find cheaper rail tickets than those available from the DB site - "just tickets" are found in abundance there, tho. Maybe you can get something from a student / youth travel agent, if you fit their criteria. Alternatively, you could try www.eurolines.com for bus travel around Europe.
