Hello
We are going to Arg for two weeks in Feb 09 and have already booked our return flights, however we cant yet book internal flights from BsAs to Iguazu as its too far in advance. If we were to sort out the rest of our holiday and leave three days in the middle for going to Iguazu, would we be able to book a flight and hotel in Iguazu a lot closer to Feb. My worry is that we leave it too late to get the flights. Can these internal flights be booked days or weeks in advance without a rise in price?
Also we are looking at returing from Igu and staying in an Estancia for a few days o/s BsAs. When should we book the estancia as the longer we can leave it the better. This is our dream holiday and dont want to ruin it with travel chaos....Any help/tips are greatly appreciated
Many thanks

there are several flights per day to iguazu. usually they are available. the booking policy is strange. keep checking the website to see if you can book them. but you have to make the payment over the phone or directly and an office.

I highly recommend flying with LAN Argentina; this company is much more reliable than Aerolineas Argentinas.

Their website (www.lan.com) says:
"For domestic routes, the date of return cannot be later than six months from today."

happy travels

You might want to consider taking the bus. We did. For 80 pesos we got a luxury bus, including afternoon tea, evening dinner with wine, and breakfast. The seats were wide - only three across the bus, and more or less fully reclining. Journey was smooth and comfortable. It took around 15hrs, from 2:30 pm to 7:30 am the next morning. So we saved the price of the hotel.

You should rent this movie before you to to Iguazu:
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0091530/
It is "The Mission" with Robert DeNiro and Jeremy Irons and Liam Neeson. It was filmed at Iguazu. We also visited San Ignacio--the Jesuit ruins. It was way cool.
