| Manila | Music in Manila. Posted: Sat April 12, 2008 12:20 PM UTC
Hi, I would like to take my wife out for the night in Manila. She is from Laguna and has heard of Ratsky's and would like to go there, but I'm not so sure. I heard it was a place for tenagers! Somewhere that has a live band playing easy-listening music. Food isn't necessary but would be good if people recommend it. Would prefer near Ermita/Malate if possible. Thanks, Alex.

Adriatico has an array of bars with live music and such. Just walk along the area and choose what takes your fancy. Same area where Ratsky's Malate is (by the way this bar is overrated IMO - mostly starlets or lame stand-up comedians doing the gig for a pricey entrance fee).

Try the Boulivard, They have great bands and fantastic food, you can wander along the boulivard holding hands....very romantic. its in Pasay, Roxas Blvd.
They also have comedy acts on. Hope this helps.
