It will take about ten minutes from the bus stop in the village, and its all uphill! Once you get to the entrance gates you still have a mile to walk along the avenue which brings you to the house, this takes you through beautiful parkland with some great views.
I think some buses actually go to the entrance, maybe Finnegans bus service from Bray, I'll ask around and get back to you, or maybe someone who has been there recently might know?

Alpine Coaches used to go to Powerscourt and to the Waterfall, but the service is probably seasonal and subject to licence so best to ring them and check when you are in the area. (01)286 2547

Sorry, I'm not well up on bus activity as I usually drive. Obviously the buses in question go to Powerscourt but not sure whether just to the gates or all the way to the house, again I'll ask around and see what I can find out.
