My wife and I will have the chance in August to drive from London to Koblenz and then spend 10 days touring the region. – a holiday without the children for the first time in many years ! We are keen to see a few of the best castles, visit some attractive small towns and also to enjoy the excellent “wellness/sauna/steam/spa” type places which we have seen in other parts of Germany.
We see plenty of recommendations for castles on virtual tourist already - so we should really appreciate suggestions for wellness/spa’s and also for hotels (nice but not too expensive) which would make good bases as we drive down the Rhine or the Mosel.
