Lucerne	Anyone Visiting the Lucerne Museum of Transportation? Posted: Fri April 11, 2008 08:55 PM UTC Hi All. The Lucerne Museum of Transportation was (and hopefully is) displaying the boat, “Seiko da Gindelwald, built by Seiko Nakajima. This is a approximately 7 meters long and was used to cross the Atlantic by Nakajima with a very small outboard motor. Here is a story about his voyage: http://www.tohatsu.com/news/seiko.html I was not able to find a web site for the Lucerne Museum of Transportation. If anyone knows of one, can you please post the link to it? If anyone plans on visiting this museum anytime soon, would it be possible for you to take some pictures of this boat and email them to me? I'll be happy to cover the costs incurred to do this. I'm a student of boat design and would love to see more details on the shape of the hull. Thanks!
